Slow mornings, generous tables
We've always believed breakfast sets the tone for the entire day. That's why we wake early to bake bread, source cheese from the morning market, and slice fruit that's still warm from the sun.
There's no buffet to navigate, no clock to watch. Just a table set for lingering, with dishes that keep appearing until you've had enough — or until you're ready to explore.
What you'll find
Baked fresh daily
Sourdough bread, croissants, and cakes — all made by hand each morning. The smell drifts through the house by 7:30.
Local cheese & charcuterie
We pick up from our fromagerie on market morning runs. Tell us if you have favorites you'd like us to seek out.
Seasonal fruit
Peaches in July, figs in August, apples in October. We source from the same farm stand every week and adapt menus to what's ripe.
Homemade jams & honey
Lavender honey from a nearby beekeeper, fig jam made from our tree, and seasonal preserves we put up during summer months.
Endless coffee
French press, espresso, cappuccino — whatever you need to start your day. Refills appear without asking, if you want them.
Dietary accommodations
Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan — just let us know when you book. We're happy to adapt, whether you have an allergy or just a preference.
Serving times
Breakfast is served between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. We can accommodate earlier starts if you have a train to catch — just let us know.
Weather permitting
When the sun cooperates, we set the table outside under the fig tree. When it's too hot or rainy, our dining room is bright and welcoming.

Breakfast is always included with your room — no surprises, no add-ons. Coffee, pastries, fruit, the works.
Our courtyard
Heart of the house is our sun-dappled courtyard, where fig and olive trees provide shade, terracotta pots overflow with herbs and flowers, and the sound of village life drifts over ancient stone walls.
It's where breakfast happens, where guests linger with books in the afternoon, and where we gather for evening aperitifs when the day has been particularly beautiful.
